The president of Mongolia University of life sciences and his party visited the University
On the afternoon of October 24, Tumur Batar huruga, President of Mongolian University of life sciences, and his party visited the University. Vice President Shang Fude met with Hu ruga and his party in the first conference room of the administration building. Heads of the academic affairs office, Graduate School, international cooperation office, College of animal husbandry and medical engineering, College of mechanical and electrical engineering and College of food science and technology attended the meeting.
Shang Fu De extended a warm welcome to hu er Ru GA and his party and briefly introduced the situation of our school. He pointed out that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors. Our university and Mongolian University of life sciences have broad prospects for cooperation in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, biotechnology, food science, agricultural engineering and other fields. Excellent graduates of Mongolian University of life sciences are welcome to study for master's degree and doctor's degree in our university. In the future, the two universities should comprehensively promote exchanges and cooperation in all aspects, and cultivate more young talents for the continuation and development of Sino Mongolian friendship.
Hurruga introduced the basic situation of Mongolian University of life sciences, hoping to actively promote substantive exchanges and cooperation and promote common development, so as to better cope with the problems and challenges faced by the two countries in agriculture, environment and other fields.
Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the signing of the memorandum of cooperation between the two universities, the joint training of undergraduates and postgraduates, teacher exchanges, scientific research cooperation and other issues, and reached a broad consensus. During the visit, President Hu ruga and his party also visited the agricultural big data innovation and entrepreneurship base in Longzihu campus.
Mongolian University of life sciences is located in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. It was founded in 1958, formerly known as Mongolian National Agricultural University, and renamed in 2014. The university has five colleges, including animal husbandry and veterinary, agronomy, agricultural economy, agricultural engineering, biology, etc., covering undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. It has 16 academicians of the Mongolian National Academy of Sciences and more than 12000 students.
