Report on the visit of wangwanzhang, yujianjun, Li He and ye Xiefeng to the 12th European precision agriculture conference in France
The 12th European precision agriculture conference was held in Montpellier, the southern city of France, from July 8 to 11, 2019. The conference was hosted by the International Institute of precision agriculture, and the International Precision Agriculture Association (ISPA) was registered in the United States in 1993. It is a non-profit professional discipline organization and an authoritative academic group in the field of precision agriculture worldwide. ISPA is the mission of promoting the progress of global precision agriculture science and technology, aiming to promote academic exchanges, technology applications and industrial development in the field of precision agriculture and agricultural information in the world. The International Conference of the International Institute of precision agriculture is held every two years around the world, and it has been the twelfth. Professor Wang wanzhang, Professor yujianjun, Li He and ye Xiefeng were invited to attend the meeting. The process of visiting and attending the meeting is summarized as follows:
Day 1: July 6-7
Invited to attend the 12th European precision agriculture conference in Montpellier, France. From Beijing, we arrive in Paris, France, and then take bus to Montpellier city by bus. The time of entry is 23:47 on July 6, 2019. The entry time and the time of Provincial Foreign Affairs approval document are inconsistent with the time of entry, and the relevant leaders shall be reported to explain the situation.
July 8th
Register for the meeting. More than 200 delegates from more than 20 countries attended the conference. The meeting was hosted by the Montpellier agricultural college.
Morning: keynote Report
The conference invited Chris Paterson, leader of Bayer, the leader of North American Digital farm, and Professor yoshua of Montreal University to make keynote speeches. Mr. Chris Paterson introduced the trend of driving precision agriculture and farm digital technology in farm applications in North America, demonstrated potential disruptive technologies in the digital farm sector, and outlined opportunities that Bayer digital farm company sought in this area. Professor yoshua mainly engaged in computer science, especially in the field of deep learning algorithms, and made a keynote speech on "data decision based on artificial intelligence" at the conference.
Afternoon: Technology venue of reducing and increasing efficiency of plant protection
July 9: participated in the remote sensing technology branch
The participants gave speeches and exchanges with 14 experts, including "lake water color remote sensing research", "RS technology application in land resource management", "Research on water storage change based on MODIS and DEM". It is believed that the popularization of space remote sensing technology should be further promoted
July 10: participate in the reduction and efficiency intelligent plant protection branch
The conference mainly focused on "new high efficiency plant protection machinery and precise reduction and application technology". 12 experts published and exchanged four topics of precision variable plant protection machinery and reduction application technology, special modern horticultural crop mechanization management equipment and technology, plant protection UAV low altitude and low dose application technology, plant protection machinery and high efficiency drug application technology development. Andreas Herbst, a researcher at the French crop research center, introduced the research and development trend of European high efficiency plant protection machinery and application technology. He said that the quality of plant protection application technology has a great impact on the effectiveness and environment of pesticides. The EU will use about 400000 tons of pesticides every year. The equipment used in the plant protection must meet the EU agricultural machinery standard 127/ 2009/ec, which specifies all relevant requirements for health, safety and environmental protection, Operators must also hold permits, and the sprayers should be checked regularly before passing the plant protection operation.
July 11: attend the water and fertilizer precision management branch in the morning
The sub venue is themed by "green, water saving, weight loss and efficiency efficiency". 12 experts published research results on water and fertilizer integration based on new technology and new concepts such as image processing, remote sensing technology, Internet of things, big data, etc.
Observation on grape precision management farm and wheat farm in the afternoon
Visited and studied the precision management vineyard farm of Montpellier Agricultural College in France. The farm uses water and fertilizer integration, remote sensing monitoring of diseases and insect pests, Internet of things and automatic irrigation and fertilization technology. The main automatic irrigation and fertilization technology in the period is realized by the automatic irrigation fertilizer application machine, which consists of the fertilizer storage bucket, main machine, solenoid valve and signal line. Through setting the parameters of the fertilizer fertilizer machine, the automatic irrigation and fertilization of the whole irrigation area can be realized, and the water and nutrition are accurately transported to the root of each crop. Thus, the supply of water and fertilizer in different growth stages of grape can be ensured.
July 12-13: Montpellier Paris, Paris China.
Understanding of the meeting:
Precision agriculture is a new topic for the agricultural development in developed countries such as the United States in the late 1980s, after Lisa (low input sustainable agriculture), in order to meet the requirements of information society development. Precision agriculture, also known as fine agriculture, precision agriculture and precision farming, is a modern agricultural production system based on information and knowledge management. Precision agriculture, which combines GPS, GIS and RS with modern agricultural technology, can maximize agricultural productivity by combining high-tech, GIS and RS with modern agricultural technology, and implement precise timing, positioning and quantitative control of agricultural resources and agricultural works, which can maximize agricultural productivity, and is an effective way to realize sustainable development of Agriculture with high quality, high yield, low consumption and environmental protection. The core of precision agriculture is to establish a perfect orchard geographic information system (GIS), which can be said to be a new type of agriculture which combines information technology with agricultural production. Precision agriculture does not emphasize high yield, but mainly on efficiency. It will bring people to the digital and information age of agriculture, is an important direction of agricultural development in the 21st century.
The purpose of this conference is to demonstrate the latest research and application progress in the field of precision agriculture in the world, and to build a broad communication platform for researchers, producers, technical company representatives, equipment manufacturers, agricultural input products vendors, agricultural consulting experts, software developers, educators, government personnel and decision makers in this field, Strengthen the connection between academic and industrial circles and enhance the sense of participation.
The conference has set up 6 sub forums, including robot, navigation and automation, precision gardening, big data and deep learning, crop and soil near end monitoring, field positioning of nutrients, profit and success model in precision agriculture. Paresh Bharatiya from India introduces the value of precision agriculture in small farms. Precision agriculture is based on information technology, which includes GPS, GIS, VRT and other technical means to achieve the minimum input and maximum output of agricultural production. Traditional precision agriculture is considered to be suitable for large farms in North America, because it needs large capital and technical input, which is not suitable in price sensitive developing countries. But paresh Bharatiya introduced the application and achievements of environmental and meteorological monitoring technology in small farms in India. The promotion of precision agriculture in China has a great reference value.
Through this meeting, we have deeply understood the development status and future development direction of precision agriculture, and clearly defined the direction to strive for at present, especially the combination of hyperspectral technology and intelligent agricultural machinery equipment and intelligent reduction and plant protection technology. At the same time, it also conducted in-depth exchanges with foreign experts, and initially established the intention of academic exchange. In the future, we will work hard and forge ahead, so as to make due contribution to the development of Henan Province in the new era.
